Fabregas wanted in Italy
Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas has revealed he had offers from an Italian side in the past, leading to speculation he may join Milan at the end of the season...
Reports in England suggest the Spanish international has refused a new deal at the club which would have kept him on until 2016.
However, Arsenal denied their player had said no on Tuesday. Arsene Wenger is not prepared to lose his man but he may have no choice as speculation in Italy is rife that Cesc may join the Rossoneri.
Leggo claims the Arsenal man will be reeled in by Milan in the same way the club hooked Mathieu Flamini. The Italian side seems like the club everyone wants to join and Flamini could be used to convince his former team mate.
Fabregas admits his did recieve offers but the move didn't take off.
"Yes, it's true. I did have offers from an Italian side which were interesting from an economical point of view," Fabregas told Sport.es.
"However, nothing really happened after that."
