Pochettino wants to match Wengar in time as manager

Arsene Wenger has been in charge of Arsenal for over 15 years and Mauricio Pochettino wants to stay as the manager of Tottenham Hotspur for a period of time similar to Wenger with Arsenal.
‘’I have full respect for him he is a great manager. An 18-year stay in charge is not easy. Tottenham is a big job and it’s a dream to stay here like Arsene at Arsenal. I need to show my skill, work hard and get results’’ Pochettino said.
The Argentinean manager Mauricio Pochettino was not shy in telling the press that he has full respect and admiration towards Arsene Wenger after such a long time in charge of Arsenal. Going through such a long period of time as the coach of a club certainly is a big accomplishment but Wenger is constantly the target of criticism as he is unable on lifting any major trophies.
It will be a huge task for Pochettino to achieve if he wants to remain at the head of Tottenham Hotspur for the upcoming few years as this Premier League club is known to change managers without hesitating if they are unable to collect positive results.
Juande Ramos, Clive Allen, Alex Inglethorpe, Harry Redknapp, Andre Villas-Boas and Tim Sherwood have all been either the managers or interim caretakers for a short time of Tottenham Hotspurs starting from 2007 up until now.
That’s a total of 7 managers in 7 years and even though some of those managers had actually went through a positive run with impressive results; they were still sacked and removed from their managerial position at the White Hart Lane.
This dream of Mauricio Pochettino of remaining in charge of Tottenham Hotspur for the next years is a very ambitious one but the factor that will ultimately determine how long he stays are the performances and results that his squad obtains in their competitions.
