Cesc Fabregas failed to win the Premier League

Cesc Fabregas failed to win the Premier League despite being at Arsenal for almost a decade.

He has spoken about the frustration for the first time ahead of a trip to the Emirates stadium with his current team Chelsea. The blues go to the match this weekend against the gunners having a 10 point advantage at the top of the table. They could realistically seal the titlewith victories against Arsenal and Leicester City. This will be the first league title for Chelsea since the 2009-10 campaign. Fabregas also so motivated personally in order to lift the title for the first time in his career.

The Spaniard has had an immensely successful career after having lifted the likes of world cups and European Championships in addition to the la Liga and other trophies. The Champions League is probably the only major title – along with the Premier League – to have eluded the 27-year-old. At the peak of his powers, Fabregas wants to add the English league title to his collection. After having had a spectacular first half to the campaign, Fabregas’ performances have dipped of late but he continues to hold a major say in the style of play nonetheless. He has contributed only one goal and two assists in the last 10 matches.

"We just want to win it. The sooner, the better. We want to give satisfaction to the supporters. It's been five years for them without winning the Premier League title; for me it's been 27 years so I'd love to win it as soon as possible. It's massive. We are level on games now, we are 10 points in front and we don't want to give them hope to put pressure on us.We have to put in a good performance because we know the Emirates is always a difficult place to go," said Fabregas.
