While many would have thought that Cesc Fabregas is already the finished product and would no longer have anything to offer at the top level, he has instead wowed fans and is currently continuing to prove himself to be a wonderful signing and one of the best players at AS Monaco.

The former Chelsea and Barcelona midfielder has taken the French Ligue 1 by storm and is currently helping his club continue their drive toward attaining a qualification to play European football next season. His fine displays for the club have come at some crucial points where the team needed him the most and his teammates and manager have all had fond words to say about him in recent times.

Following their most recent league clash, Fabregas scored a penalty to hand his side a much-needed win that has seen them draw closer to a top-four finish ahead of the season finishing in some weeks.

He has brought some more passing vision to the Monaco midfield, along with some skillets that have seen him register a couple of assists this season. His goals have also come in handy for his team and he has continued to prove to be undroppable even though there are younger options for his position in the team.

Following their latest league triumph, the former Spain international midfielder said he shares the same goal with the club and that he wants to help the team finish as high as possible in the table. He said even though they end up finishing in the top four at the end of the season, it still would not be enough but they would have to accept it that way and start on a better note next season.

Monaco are currently getting a list of transfer targets ready as they hope to finish the season in the top four so they can strengthen the squad and have a great European campaign next season.
