CescFabregas wants to play football and to prove Conte wrong

The Spanish international CescFabregas recently said that spending time on the bench is something that he does not wishes to do at a consistent basis but it’s what he has had to do under the guidance of Antonio Conte.

"I play football to win and enjoy. When I don't play I'm sad and I don't enjoy it, but I'm happy the team is doing well. Football is my life, it’s everything to me. Every time I’m on the pitch I try to do my best. In this game it went well again so I just need to keep going and show the manager I deserve to play." Chelsea’s CescFabregas said.

David Moyes Speaks about Missed Transfer Targets Like Cesc Fabregas

Former Manchester United manager David Moyes has revealed that he tried to bring in several star players like Cesc Fabregas and Cristiano Ronaldo during his short tenure at the club.

Moyes was handpicked by Sir Alex Ferguson when the Scot decided to retire after more than two decades at the club. It was always going to be a tough ask for any manager to follow Ferguson and Moyes indeed found it difficult as well.

Antonio Conte Dismisses Speculation about Cesc Fabregas’ Future

Antonio Conte has not preferred using Cesc Fabregas in the Chelsea midfield and the Spaniard also finds it extremely hard to get into a team that has been doing so well of late.

Fabregas has not been one of the starting players right from the beginning of the campaign. Conte has preferred using Nemanja Matic and N’Golo Kante in the centre of the midfield. Despite Fabregas being one of the standout players since his move from Barcelona in 2014, he has been unable to get into this Chelsea team. Defeats against the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal seemed to provide a glimmer of hope for the 29-year-old.

CescFabregas has revealed that Conte is counting on him

Fabregas has gone from being a consistent starter in all of previous club including: Arsenal and Barcelona. In all of those teams, Fabregas helped them in securing a number of different pieces of silverware.

Chelsea is the current club of CescFabregas and the Spanish midfielder has aided the Premier League outfit in winning their domestic title as well as the Football League Cup. The 2 initial seasons of Fabregas in Stamford Bridge were fairly memorable for him as he made 33 league appearances and provided 7 assists while scoring 4 goals in his 2nd season as a Chelsea player.

Cesc Fabregas’ future at Stamford Bridge is in doubt with the plans former Italian national team coach Antonio Conte would deploy going into the forthcoming season.

The Italian has a huge task at returning the club to winning ways following a disappointing 2015 for the Premier League giant.

There are a lot of reports linking the player’s stay at the club to be coming to an end, especially with the 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 formations that the coach would employ at the club. This means the former Juventus coach will have less need for the player who featured in all but one of Chelsea’s games in the last campaign.

Fabregas returns to training

Cesc Fabregas has just joined the Chelsea group that is preparing themselves for the new season. The London club gave the Spanish international extra time off following his participation at the Euros in France. Cesar Azpilicueta and Pedro are other players that will be joining the team following some extra holidays.

Antonio Conte will be happy to have his best players back in the team as he attempts to implement his own football in the team. He admitted that it will not come immediately and that the players will have to work hard if they want to succeed.
