Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has said that he is enjoying the ability to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world without the pressure of being the star man. Former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas joined his hometown club Barcelona in the summer for £ 35 million.

He started the season spectacularly by winning two trophies in a matter of six months. However, the second half of the season has been a bit of struggle for the player, who is expected to replace Xavi in the coming years. Many regard that Cesc Fabregas has spoilt the balance of the team.

FABREGAS ESCAPES FROM CRASH

Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas escaped unhurt despite suffering a huge crash in his Mercedes SL500 while on way to training - with some news agencies reporting that he was checking the latest european football scores at the time.

According to The Sun, Fabregas, 23, had been driving 15 miles from his home in Hampstead, North London, to the Gunners' training ground at London Colney, near St Albans, Hertfordshire.

But he fell foul of a 50 mph stretch of the A41 near Edgware, just before road works reduced three lanes to two.

XAVI TIPS CESC BARCA MOVE

Barcelona midfielder Xavi has indicated that he is positive his club will land Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas.

The Blaugrana have long been credited with an interest in Fabregas, but Arsenal's determination to keep hold of their prized asset has prevented the deal from happening.
